Tjurken och Kalvens FVOF

The Tjurken and Kalven fish conservation area is located at the top of the Vierydsån water system. Here there is the opportunity to fish in shallow, untouched lakes. The lakes are partly rocky and partly muddy. There are large areas with water lilies and some overwater vegetation such as rushes and reeds.

We attach great importance to the lakes feeling undisturbed and therefore there are not many prepared places around the lakes. Fishermen are welcome on nature's terms. Here there is the opportunity to fish in small untouched lakes and in addition to fishing get a wonderful nature experience. Respect signs and land.

The largest lake, Tjurken, is accessible via three fishing spots on the eastern side, see map, where you can also park and rent a boat. Please note that we only allow electric motors in the lakes. The smaller lake Kalven is accessible via two fishing spots in the southern part of the lake, see map for parking spots and follow the signs. There are also boats for rent here.

We take the spread of invasive alien species seriously and therefore ask you to check your gear, so that it does not bring animals and plants from other lakes. We would like you to rent a boat at the lake as boats with you risk spreading invasive alien species.
