Wood Star is a small forest star and is located south of Sollefteå and is reached via Vallåvägen and the road towards Gravvattnet.

The water comes mainly from underground sources and is of good quality. The fish stock is a self-reproducing population of Swedish char and American brook char.

There is no motorway to the pond and you have to walk about 500-600 meters before arriving.

Implantation of trout started almost 100 years ago. The aim is to maintain good fishing. The association has no purpose for profit and all revenue is consumed in the fishery.
