Yngen is a deep, approximately 10 km long clearwater lake located in eastern Värmland, along road 63 between Filipstad and Hällefors.
It is drinking water for Persberg and Filipstad. Here you will find gold bullion, trout, char and perch and pike. Also, sik, siklöja, nors, roar and loot. Ice fishing license in the winter 2012/2013: pike 15.5 kg.
Ramp for boat hire is available in Persberg.
Yngen's FVOF manages the fishing in Lake Yngen .
The purpose of the association is, among other things, to coordinate fishing, fisheries conservation and grant fishing rights to the public, as well as promote the common interests of fishing right holders.
Within the area, there is also a Filipstad Municipal Fishing License .
The municipal fishing license is a collaboration between the fisheries management area associations Alstern-Lungens FVOF, Grundsjöhyttans FVOF, Horssjön-Långbans FVOF, Rämens FVOF , Yngens FVOF, Aspen-Daglösens FVOF, Gåsborns FVOF, Nordmarksälvens FVOF and Skåltjärnshyttans FVOF.
