Alsterns Sportfiskeklubb (Kronoberg)

Alstern is a lake in Uppvidinge municipality in Småland and is part of the Alsterån's main catchment area.

The lake is 24 meters deep with many small bays. Which makes it suitable for both trolling and cast fishing. The lake is drained by the watercourse Alsterån, which gives it a clear, fresh water. During trial fishing, a large number of fish species have been caught, including perch, pike, bream, pikeperch, roach, roach, whitefish and vendace. Båtramp has built out on the pinudden 2020.

Sjöasjö is similar with bays and varying depths between 2-5m, but not a good place to put in a boat.
In the middle of Sjöasjö there is a current that goes through to the Alster, important with vigilance, when the ice settles it can be tricky.
