Krokegöl is a put-and-take lake located in the forest 9km northeast of Kosta, near the Visjön nature reserve. The lake is managed by Kosta Folkets Hus and has an annual planting of rainbow trout of various sizes. The catches are often between 1.5-2.5kg. There are also pike and perch. The rainbow is fished with a fly, spin, angling or pimp. Fly rods in class 4-7 are recommended as well as light reel equipment with small spinners and spoon drags. The meter baits the hook with worm or shrimp.
There are 3 rowing boats that Kosta Folkets Hus rents out.
The board of Kosta Folkets Hus works entirely on a non-profit basis. We strive to in every way increase togetherness in the village. With us at Folkets Hus, you can participate in various activities and contribute to the community. We believe that every individual can make an important difference!
