Ängelholm is a paradise for anglers. Here are generous rivers and lakes as well as a whole sea that offers fine coastal fishing. There are three short-fishing waters: Rönne å, Vege å and Västerjön. Fishing premiere in the rivers is the first weekend in March. In the Baltic Sea, fishing is allowed all year round.
Sea fishing The piers at Rönne ås outlet are popular casting sites and no fishing license is needed here. Sea trout, herring and mackerel.
Rönne å Runs from Ringsjön and empties into Skälderviken. Along the Rönne river there are a number of jetties for anglers, and in some places there are also barbecue areas. First weekend in March to last September: Salmon, trout, pike and perch.
Vege Å Runs from Söderåsen and ends at Utvälinge. At the mouth there is a relatively shallow area that is well suited for fly fishing. March - September Trout and salmon. All year round - perch and pike.
The Baltic Sea Located on Hallandsåsen approx. 15 km. Northeast of Ängelholm. The water holds a mixture of flat lake and lowland forest lake and has an area of 480 ha and maximum depth is 13 m and the average depth is 4.8 m. In addition to the fine fishing water, there is also rental of boats of which one of the boats is adapted for the disabled. Lift for getting in and disembarking are available at the bridge. Trout, pike, perch, pikeperch, roach and bream.
