Jormvattnets FVOF

Jormvattnet's FVO has a notorious char and trout fishing, summer and winter.

The following waters are available within the fisheries management area:
Jormsjön, Myrskalstjärn, Holmtjärn, Långplutten, Hästskotjärn, Hästplutten, Kvarntjärn, Långtjärn, Södra Partjärn, Mörttjärn, Raudek and Silesjaure . New for this year is Lill Väktarn, where fishing from a boat is also permitted

New for this year fishing allowed from the lower part of the Blåsjöälven by ErikOlof flyn to Lilla Blåsjön1: 8 the border with Lillväktaren. Only fly fishing with a fly rod is allowed in this area.

Ban on all fishing from the Bridge at Blåsjöfallet to the lower part of ErikOlof flyn

Holmtjärn, Långplutten, Hästskotjärn and Partjärn: max 3 fish/day

Hästplutten: for children and young people up to 15 years of age and the disabled, max 3 fish/day

Jormvattnet is next to Vildmarksvägen in Frostviken in northern Jämtland. The area is reached via road 45 Östersund-Strömsund then "Vildmarksvägen" (340) to Jorm via Gäddede.

Boat and motor can be rented at the fishing camp at Jormsjön. The area is well signposted and with clear paths. Some lakes are easily accessible for families. There are several wind shelters and some rest cabins.

Grillkåta is available for those who have a fishing license within Jormvattnet's FVOV. It is nicely located on the pier at the mouth of Blåsjölven: Fire wisely and clean up after yourself.
