The Kvarnberg water is a large lake in northern Jämtland.
It is about 3.5 miles and extends from Gäddede to the Norwegian border.
The water contains plenty of trout and char.
Conducts fishery management throughout Kvarnbergsvattnet.
Supports planting rainbow trout in streams and rivers, eye-spotted roe and fish fry.
Kvarnbergsvattnet is regulated at 10 m so it can be difficult to launch a boat in early June.
Boat ramp is located at Pegelkuren 500 m towards Björkvattnet.
Popular spring and winter fishing with fine carp can be found at Skogsvika towards the Norwegian border. Snowmobile trail from Björkvattnet or Bränna. Check the ice before you go out with a snowmobile, it can be uncertain in some places. Follow the marked trail.
