The fishing waters include the part of the Klarälven that lies within Sysslebäck's fisheries management area.
The stretch is about 25 km long and runs from the Kärrback beach bridge in the north to the Ransby bridge in the south. The stretch of current down to Lake Vingängsjön has only a few seals, which gives a rocky bottom. The rest of the river has a sandy bottom. At Brattmon, the river is strong for about 2 km. Here, the bottom is coarse stony, but otherwise it is about fist-sized stones. The river width varies with an average width of 80-100 metres.
In the current areas, the fishing stocks consist of grayling and trout as well as occasional salmon, in Lake Vingängsjön pike, perch and tench. There are also some whitefish in the river. The Klarälven, and not least the Sysslebäckspartiet, belong to the very best mid-Swedish gray waters.
Our organization consists of a board of five members and two deputies.
FVOF plans various biotope measures as well as cultivation and stocking of fish from the stationary trout and grayling stocks in the river. Because floating has now also ceased in the river, the conditions for sport fishing have further improved.
