Exemption fishing in 2024

The Lower Norsälven FVO has been granted an exemption from the ban on fishing for salmon and trout in the Norsälven and the exemption fishing will last between 15/9 and 31/10. It is of utmost importance that catches are reported, we have therefore made catch reporting mandatory. All fishing will be prohibited in zone 1 after 31/10

ATTENTION! Fishing for salmon and trout is prohibited during the peace period from 15 September to 31 December in Norsälven.

The fisheries management area includes the Norsälven from the factory bridge in Edsvalla (200 m downstream of the power plant dam) to the river's mouth and the northern part of the Åsfjord up to and including the southern tip of Götviksudden.

Here you can fish for zander, salmon and trout, among other things.

NOTE speed limit in Norsälven is 5 knots.
