Lake Aspen is located in Långserud and is 344 ha in size with a shoreline of 14,500 m. It is a beautifully situated lake surrounded by forest, pastures and fields. There are both deep holes and shallows, average depth 6.6 m. Popular fishing water for Perch and Gos. The lake is part of the Lillälventuren canoe trail.

Spread of diseases
In order to minimize the risk of the spread of fish and cancer diseases, only bait fish from the water in which the fishing is conducted must be used. Equipment, boats etc. should be cleaned when they are moved between different lakes and waterways.
Fisheries supervision
Fishing supervision is exercised by trained persons appointed by Aspen's fvof. Fishing license must be carried and can be shown on request. It is the responsibility of the fishing license holder to find out and follow the applicable regulations, as well as to be able to provide identification. Poaching is reported to the police and the equipment is confiscated. In the event of a violation of the fishing regulations, the board can decide on a control fee of a maximum of SEK 2,000 alt. suspension for a maximum of 5 years.
