Welcome to fish in Smedjeån and Edenbergaån!

Three miles of exciting fishing waters that under the surface harbor Halland's landscape fish, trout and salmon, as well as char, whiting, perch and pike. Smedjeån and Edenbergaån are located in Laholm Municipality in Södra Halland.

In the Smedjeån and Edenbergaån you can fish: Salmon, trout, pike, pike, id, perch, etc.

During the time when the concept of recreational fishing did not exist, a number of mills were built to harness the energy in the Smedjeån. This meant that the salmon were shut out of their natural spawning grounds. The salmon ladders at the mill ponds now give migratory fish access to spawning grounds in small streams and tributaries. Smolt production in these nature's own nurseries yields returns in the form of exciting trout and salmon fishing.
