Börtnans FVOF

The area spreads out along Ljungan where there are longer stretches for fly fishing as well as various lakes. The rivers Arån and Galån are also covered by the 20 km long stretch for fly fishing. Up to 600 ha of lakes are included in the area, which provides good conditions for a varied fishing trip.
With its varied selection, Börtnan's FVO is one of Sweden's most interesting fishing areas. The Swedish sportfishing record, rainbow trout (11 kg) and the world record (14 kg) are set in Börtnansjön.
